Place Properties was founded in 2003 when Olivia Stuart-Harris, Sheffield born business woman and well-respected Property Developer and Interior Designer, spotted an opportunity in the Sheffield Professional property lettings market. 

There was an overflow of student accommodation and a lack of high standard Professional properties within Sheffield.  Olivia’s aim was to meet this demand:

“There was a desperate need for improved standards within Professional property letting in Sheffield…it was so rewarding to see smiles on tenants faces when they viewed our homes – we knew we were on the right track.” 

In 2004, Place Properties moved into Professional ‘house share’ lets:

“We were being inundated with Professionals wanting high standard house shares whereby they could meet, live and socialise with likeminded housemates.”

Today, Place Properties has firmly established itself within the Sheffield Professional letting's market.  Offering a range of top quality properties to let within prime locations in Sheffield, including executive apartments and houses in both Professional house shares and whole property lets.

Place Properties has maintained its values and even though it has grown in size it is still very much a family business:
